Work From Home Stuffing Envelopes

!: Work From Home Stuffing Envelopes

This 'work from home stuffing envelopes' 'opportunity' was investigated by 'Which' magazine and can be found online. The scam asks for £49.99 for a 'starter pack' to get you started. What you do not realize it that they will simply ask you to be placing adverts offering 'Work form home stuffing envelopes'. Effectively you would be recruiting other people to do what you yourself have just done. It is deemed an illegal pyramid scheme by the ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) and can be found on their website.

I actually tried this scheme several years ago as it was still floating around then. I tried to place adverts in post office windows and many business owners refused it. It is not a genuine business opportunity and you would be wise to give it a wide berth. There are many opportunities available now to enable you to work from your home computer. One of these is affiliate marketing and it is one of the most popular business models around for the would-be work from home entrepreneur.

Affiliate marketing is an online business which can be done in your spare time as an extra income or as a full-time job. Depending on the approach you use with this business, you can either earn a full or part-time income from it and of course that will also depend on how much effort your put in to the business. It can be run with very little outlay and with only doing a few hours a day. Also it is an incredibly flexible business which you can fit around pretty much any lifestyle. All you need is you home computer, laptop and internet connection. You can even live anywhere in the world and travel while you work!

Affiliate marketing put simply is 'a way to earn income by promoting other peoples products and services'. If this is done online on your home computer, the content you place on the internet can still be earning money years after it is 'placed' there. Because of this, affiliate marketing can create a cumulative effect whereby your previous work drives traffic (people/customers) as you generate more content. As the content grows so does the amount of traffic and therefore your sales. You eventually reach a tipping point where sales grow exponentially because of the work you have done previously. When this happens you have generated 'passive' income and the content you have generated carries on working bringing customers to products and earning your affiliate income. This income structure is similar to a 'royalty' based payment scheme which is usually something that only people like actors and authors can capitalize on.
